Sony Unveils New PlayStation PlayStation Portal and Pulse Headsets

Introducing the PlayStation Portal: A Handheld Companion to the PS5

Sony has announced its latest addition to the PlayStation family: the PlayStation Portal. This handheld device combines the features of the DualSense wireless controller with an 8-inch LCD screen, allowing gamers to play their favorite PS5 titles remotely over Wi-Fi. While it won’t support PSVR2 titles or games that require cloud streaming, the PlayStation Portal offers wireless play at home, perfect for gamers on the go.

Enhance Your Gaming Experience with the New Pulse Headsets

Alongside the PlayStation Portal, Sony has revealed two new Pulse headsets: the Pulse Elite and the Pulse Explore. The Pulse Elite is a wireless headset that delivers lossless audio and features a retractable in-built boom mic. It also includes AI-enhanced noise rejection for a clear and immersive gaming experience. The Pulse Explore, on the other hand, is the first set of official wireless earbuds for the PlayStation 5. It boasts dual microphones, AI noise rejection, and comes with a convenient charging case.

PlayStation Link: The Next Level in Wireless Audio Technology

Both the Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore headsets utilize PlayStation Link, Sony’s new wireless audio technology. This innovative tech offers low latency and lossless audio, making it easy to switch between multiple PS Link hosts, such as the PS5 and the PS Portal.
