Nintendo Switch Sales Approach 20 Million Units
The Nintendo Switch console has been on the market for approximately 18 months. Sales figures released by Nintendo in late June show that the Switch is fast approaching the milestone of 20 million units sold. This benchmark is an indication of its success no matter how you view the data.
Looking at the numbers, this is very similar to how the market-leading PlayStation 4 was selling at the same point in its product life cycle.
While the Switch, a portable console from Nintendo, is not directly competing with Sony’s giant Playstation 4, the Switch has rocketed past Wii U sales, and has no visible signs of slowing its sales momentum.
