Dispirited Employees To Take Apple To The Fair Work Commission

Tech giant, Apple, is dealing with pushback from unhappy employees both in Australia and also overseas; being taken to the Fair Work Commission later on this month.

The Australian Services Union (ASU) as well as Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees’ Association (SDA) knocked Apple in a joint statement published by the unions on Tuesday, accusing the tech giant of inhibiting union organisers from speaking to staff members.

They allege the company tried to pressure its employees into approving an unseemly agreement after their request to lengthen the consultation process by extending Apple’s target date to August 19 was rejected.
